Mountain View Medical Center is on the fore-front of diabetes education and monitoring. As part of the Oregon Diabetes Collaborative II we strive to provide up to date, relavant information to our patients and the wider community. In this section of our site you will find a variety of useful information under four headings:

• Recipes - Fantastic, flavorful food ideas for individuals who are controlling their blood glucose levels, lowering their blood pressure and living a better life.
• News Updates - Articles of specific diabetes topics from a variety of sources. You will find that the more you know the better you feel.
• Vignettes - Example stories of idividuals who are succeeding, living fullfilling lives with the same challenges you face every day.
• Physicians Corner - Not all primary care physicians specialize in diabetes, often they have devoted a large portion of their lives to other important subjects like physical medicine, pain care or women's health. This section contains information for physicians to keep up to date on the latest research and ideology.
